The vertically polarized waveguide ridge with capacitance plates reduces the performance with ridge gap. The final design structure is simple and easy to fabricate, Based on the project requirements, a 16*16 array is fabricated. the experimental results achive excellent performance. Abstract

In this paper, a C-band dual-polarized waveguide slot antenna used in satellite synthetic aperture radar (SAR) subsystem is introduced.
