Abstract

In this work, the induction machine (IM) model is developed using the VBR (Voltage Behind Reactance) technique in the ATP-EMTP program, using the ATPDraw@ user interface and the MODELS tool available in EMTP. Starting from the equations of the induction machine in space vectors coordinate frame, referred to the stator, the VBR model is directly obtained.
