Abstract

The increasing demand of therenewable energy have encouraged the customers to implement hybrid energy systems independent of the power grid to serve their daily energy needs. PV-Diesel Generator (DG) is the most prominent hybrid power systems employ in wide range of residential and office loads in India. However, without storage system, most of the PV generated power remains unused during low load demand scenarios resulting wastage. This paper focuses on the real-time performance of an official loadbased hybrid PV-DG system without storage.
