We first studied consecutive SCHs-speed coupling excitation model and four degree of freedom (4-DOF) nonlinear vehicle suspension model. Then, The chaotic vibration of nonlinear vehicle is studied by numerical simulation under a 4-DOF nonlinear vehicle suspension model. Simulation results demonstrate that the chaotic motion may occur as the vehicle accelerates or decelerates to move over a series of the consecutive SCHs. Abstract
