Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of online learning media in the learning management system in improving student performance during online learning. During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning is carried out fully online. The selection of appropriate learning media and strategies will greatly affect the quality of learning and student performance. This research method uses experimental and quantitative descriptive methods. The sample in this study consisted of 32 samples of the experimental class and 32 samples of the control class. From the results of this study, data was obtained that online learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out through LMS SIPEJAR, WhatsApp, Google meet, Zoom Cloud Meeting, Email, and Google Classroom. The use of LMS SIPEJAR ranks first as the LMS most frequently used with a percentage of 95%. Meanwhile, the effect of using learning media in SIPEJAR as an LMS on improving performance is seen from two aspects, namely student activity and student learning outcomes.
