The results of the study develop the mathematical support of information systems for supporting the scientific and production activities of a chemist-technologist in terms of modeling linguistic resources and improving the reliability of decision support methods. Operators that allow formalizing chemical information in terms of fuzzy sets are proposed. The methodology for using these operators is illustrated by the example of solving the problem of choosing a polymer according to the requirements formulated by the consumer. Abstract
For solving problems of optimizing chemical-technological systems the method of data analysis in the conditions of fuzzy, incomplete, heterogeneous source information is proposed.
