Analisis Pemilihan Moda Transportasi Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Untirta (Studi Kasus Cilegon-Tangerang)

Abstract

Iincreasing number of students, especially students who use vehicles, both private and public transport, seems to contribute to traffic congestion and congestion. The solution to transportation problems that occur can be done by knowing the characteristics of students in making travel movements, especially in terms of choosing the mode of transportation to be used. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of students from the Faculty of Engineering UNTIRTA in choosing a mode of transportation with attributes of travel costs, travel time, service convenience, and safety security with the Stated Preference method and statistical analysis using SPSS version 25. The characteristics of the respondents in this study were majority male and the majority of respondents had a driver's license and other documents as well as vehicle ownership of 1 to 4 vehicles. In data processing, the researcher conducted a correlation test, linearity, F test and T test and multinomial logit regression. Testing Multinomial Logistic Regression Analysis based on respondent's attributes and Multinomial Logistics Regression Analysis based on mode attributes resulted in the highest constant of 0.185 where it stated that the probability of private vehicles was higher than public transportation and showed the relationship between respondents' attributes and modal attributes.
