This paper sorted out the development status of integrated energy systems at home and abroad, the basic concepts and main types of integrated energy systems, calculated the economics of the combined heat and power (CHP) systems and distributed energy systems, and analyzed and summarized the three aspects of the impact of integrated energy systems on the development of power grids.
