The new abnormal

Abstract

Last April the New York alternative rock band The Strokes released their sixth studio album surprisingly titled "The New Abnormal". This multicultural musical group led by a grandson of Spaniards, Julian Casablancas, presented a set of excellent songs where the titles of the songs evoked scenes of reality unimaginable when they were written. The new abnormality that fills our daily lives fills our time with events that were inconceivable just a few months ago. Thus the album presents songs with titles as predictive of the near future as Selfless, Bad decisions, Eternal summer, Not the same anymore or The Adults are talking.
