This paper aims to present research opportunities with the use of Blockchain technology in applications that manipulate DNA sequence data. For this purpose, we propose an architecture for general E-health applications with Blockchain and implement a Proof of Concept (POC) to analyze the use of Blockchain technology in E-health applications using DNA sequence data. E-health applications are health-related computing solutions that use the internet to provide services to users.
