Abstract
Three dimesional polygonal models can be classified into three groups as irregular, semi-regular and regular. Regular models have advantages over the semi-regular and irregular ones in terms of efficient processing, memory requirements and rendering. Although most of the polygonal mesh generating methods yield irregular models, these models can be remeshed regularly.
