Abstract
It is well-known that for the realization of narrow-band optical filters, multilayer and modulated media are used. Including amplification in such media gives the possibilities to obtain narrow-band optical amplification. In the present paper non-uniform fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) are the subject of investigation.
