Abstract

Use case is an effective means to model the user-system interaction, which covers not only how the user will interact with the system but how the system will respond to the user, including how the behavior of the elements of the user interface are interdependent. In this paper, we deeply research on analysis of interaction process between actors and the system in use cases. An interaction process model is built applying MVC pattern and a user interface hierarchical model is discussed, which supports automatic generation of user interface based on use cases. These research results can be treated as a technical basis of automatic generation of user interface prototype from use cases.
