¿Una nueva ciencia? Una lectura crítica de ‘La Méthode’ (1977-1991) de Edgar Morin

El autor, desde un enfoque contextualista, critica la ambivalencia en la que, a su juicio, incurren los planteamientos de Morin sobre la cuestión de la relación de la ciencia con los contextos sociales en que se produce y la tendencia de Morin a incurrir en el objetivismo. Relaciona esos planteamientos con el determinismo mecánico que Morin –desacertadamente– atribuye al “sociologismo” y a la sociología del conocimiento. ABSTRACT In this article the author exposes in a synthetic way the fundamental contents and the main conclusions of his book “A new science? A critical reading of Edgar Morin's 'La Méthode' ". The book, published in Swedish, has as its axis the analysis of Morin's project of a "scienza nuova" based on a knowledge of knowledge, as he develops it in the first four volumes of "The Method", which were the ones that were had been published when the author wrote the doctoral thesis from which the book is the fruit. The author, from a contextualist approach, criticizes the ambivalence in which, in his opinion, Morin's approaches incur on the question of the relationship of science with the social contexts in which it occurs and Morin's tendency to incur in the objectivism. He relates these approaches to the mechanical determinism that Morin –unwisely– attributes to “sociologism” and the sociology of knowledge.
