Abstract

By means of the proof for the enzyme phenol oxidase (PO; EC 1.14.18.1) was investigated, whether the eosinophilic granuloma correspond to a cell mediated immunological defence reaction. The method allowed to determine the eosinophils rapidly and surely and give an overview on the frequency and distribution of these cells.
