Abstract
Photosensitive polymers which are known as non-silver photosensitive substance became insoluble to the original solvent through the progress of hardening process by exposing to ultra violet ray. The electric resistance of bichromate sensitive polymers were measured under the exposure of light. Potassium bichromate which was irradiated by gamma-ray was also employed for the specimen of this study. It was supposed that hardening reaction of water soluble polymers coexisted with bichromate salt was initiated by photoreduction of Cr6+ to Cr3+, and then the hardening rea ction of water soluble polymers by Cr3+ was Proceeded1) 2) . In order to ascertain the hypothesis, the authors also measured the dark electric resistance of potassium bichromate gelatin to which Cr3+ was added.
