This can be a challenge for a novice network administrator. In this work, the network root cause analysis and repair system is proposed for analyzing four main network problems, i.e. IP duplication, link up/down, loopback and MAC flapping problems. The problems are classified using a rule-based classification with thresholds. Then, the system tries to preliminary solve some software problems automatically.
