Abstract

Introduces a high level model of visual perception, based on a multidisciplinary approach. The purpose of this model is to extract and to integrate some of the properties of the visual process that incorporates its flexibility and autonomy. Its structure includes a figurative component, which builds the mental representation of the surroundings, and an operative component, which regulates and guides the whole process.
