Abstract
One cannot say that “Green construction” is wide-spread in Russia, while in the developed countries it is implemented in both: new construction and reconstruction projects. Therefore, it is important to identify current issues, concerning implementation of “Green construction” in Russia. The objective of this article is to explore the implementation perspectives of “Green” technologies in Russian construction and reconstruction as a common practice. To conduct the research, the following methodologies were used: comprehensive and systematic analysis, synthesis, analogy, logical sampling. The analysis of the Russian local legal requirements is performed and the reasons for the lack of implementation are identified. Moreover, the study of the “Green buildings” construction experience and best practices in the world and in Russia specifically was done. The justification of choice for the more expensive reconstruction or new construction projects is done. The concept of the “Green campus” is proposed, that is a demo-zone for the research and development of “Green building” technologies. The research proposed the new ways of financial funding, reduction of operational costs and testing of new “Green” technologies.
