It was shown that most of the Ili River Basin's water storage was spatially at loss, and the maximum loss amount had reached to −40.08 mm. The trend of water storage agreed with total annual precipitation’s, which were in downward trend. In a year, the monthly water storage change curve was in “U” shape. The water storage was surplus in the winter year (the maximum surplus was 16.1 mm) and under deficit in summer year (the maximum loss was −14.68 mm).
