The principles of the satellite corporate ISDN constructing

Abstract

This report devote the aspects of constructing the satellite ISDN systems (S-ISDN) with emphasis on specific features of satellite communications and constructing the private ISDN. S-ISDN may solve the tasks of the ISDN "islands" interconnection and providing the remote access for ISDN. In dependence of the task the appropriate integration of satcom and ISDN level is required. In the report the different integration levels are discussed as well as the methods of the integration realization and choosing the level in accordance with using the S-ISDN. As a result there is the conclusion about sufficiency the channel integration for the task of the ISDN "islands" interconnection and about impossibility to use the private S-ISDN for such tasks.
