These protocols are LEACH, CBHRP, MH-LEACH and LEATCH. Abstract

In wireless sensor networks, sensors must have a high degree of autonomy to ensure a continuous monitoring of the phenomenon perceived and must transmit the best of information to the base station with minimum loss of it. Cluster based routing protocols were initiated as the most energy efficient routing protocols for large scale wireless sensor networks.
