Abstract

The propagation characteristics of TE waves in a cylindrical waveguide structure of a lateral antiferromagnetic -non magnetic superlattices (LANs) bounded by a left handed material (LHM) are investigated. We found that, adjusting the thickness of the waveguide to small reduced radius will support backward TE wave modes which can have very large effective index nx.
