Reconfigurable Half-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide Filter With Wide Out-Of-Band Rejection

Abstract

This paper presents a half-mode substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) filter with both continuous center frequency tuning and continuous bandwidth (BW) tuning. The out-of-band rejection of the bandpass filter is greatly improved by loading the tunable lowpass filter on the input/output feed line. Both the theoretical analysis and experiments are described to validate the proposed filter structure.
