A SET OF MEASURES FOR FIRE PROTECTION OF BREATHING VALVES OF ABOVEGROUND TANKS IN TANK FARMS

Abstract

The article discusses the shortcomings in providing fire protection for the breathing fittings of ground tanks at oil and oil products storage and pro-cessing facilities. A set of measures for their protection is proposed, the im-plementation of which will reduce the economic and environmental conse-quences of a fire at such facilities.
