Abstract

We propose modifications in the TCP-Friendly Rate Control (TFRC) congestion control mechanism from the Datagram Congestion Control Protocol (DCCP) intended for use with real-time traffic, which are aimed at improving its performance for long delay (primarily satellite) links.
