Abstract

This paper presents a dual wideband CPW-fed monopole antenna based on split-ring elements for WLAN (2.4/5 GHz) applications. The proposed split-ring monopole antenna (SRMA) has a compact novel design which provides 13.8% and 55.5% impedance bandwidth at operational frequency bands.
