Abstract

This paper deals with the growth of a micro inverter for single phase photovoltaic applications which is suitable for conversion from low voltage DC to high circuit and grid connected micro inverter with a very minor number of conversion stages and passive components. The full bridge converter is interfaced with frequency conversion circuit by using high frequency link transformer and series resonant tank. The output of the inverter is controlled by phase shift power modulation technique. By using steady state analysis, the switching loss and conduction loss of the inverter are determined. The micro inverter and converter have light weight and reduced switching count. So the switching and conduction losses are also reduced.
