Abstract

In the process of raising a child from the womb to adulthood, a mother needs to have and apply the right parenting concept so that the child's needs can be met both physically and spiritually so that the child grows into a person of integrity. In this study, the researcher discussed the concept of parenting by Hana in raising Samuel as a vow to God. The results of the research on the parenting concept applied by Hana in raising Samuel are; first, children belong to God since they were in the womb; second, preparing children as servants of God for life; third, preparing basic needs; fourth, mentoring with a partner; fifth, mentoring commitment. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Notes
