Abstract

This document presents the method of moments (MoM) and a state of the art about its applications in dispersion problems in aperture antennas. A comparison of the MoM analysis versus the GTD analysis is maked, using an application in MATLAB® for Conical horn Antennas. The radiation patterns and electrical characteristics obtained from this application, are also compared with the antenna datasheet of a manufacturer, making acceptable predictions.
