Abstract
This chapter discusses the creative synthetic approaches to azides and cycloalkynes, provides the rationale for controlling SPAAC reactivity through tuning cycloalkyne and azide backbone modifications, and highlights research on nitrone cycloadditions with cycloalkynes.
