Abstract
to validate control software and test the control units in the fuel cell hybrid vehicle (FCHV) more safely and effectively, this paper designs a hardware-in-loop (HIL) test bench for testing the control units of propulsion system of a FCHV. Based on the understanding of the whole system and corresponding distributed control units, a forward simulation model is introduced with detailed DC/DC and electric drive model. Then a HIL test bench based of an Opal-RT HILBOX and a dSPACE Simulator is built. Compare with data of an actual FCV cycle test, the HIL test bench's function, expansibility and future development are discussed.
