Abstract

This paper presents modeling and control of integrated power electronic converters for electronic ballast operation. Experiments are done for different methods for dimming control. The switching frequency control employs the rule based fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy logic controller will provide the desired pulses for switching action. The simulation result justifies the correctness of the circuit. This proposed circuit can avoid the problems like flickering, stroboscopic effect, noise.
