Comparative Analysis of Methods and Tools for Formal Modelling and Verification for Embedded Systems. Probabilistic Approach

Abstract

Research is focused on approximation modeling and analysis of software correctness. Part of research include gathering information about methods such as Markov Chain, Markov Process, stochastic Petri net, Probabilistic Timed Automata and software tools which allows to present formal modelling for embedded systems examples. This article describes short introductions to aforementioned methods and software tools which are intended to help researchers during process of analysis and design of real time systems. Additionally article describe recent state of art of few example articles for formal modelling usage.
