Abstract

This paper propose an efficient Time Domain Quantization feedback for beamforming in WLAN MIMO-OFDM systems. This technic is based on Time Domain Beamforming and exploits the temporal properties of the MIMO channel. Simulations results in IEEE 802.11ac context with empirical ITU channel models show that whatever the bandwidth or MIMO configuration, the feedback overhead of the proposed quantization is shorter than that of the conventional Givens Rotation.
