Abstract

This paper presents the derivation of the inverse problem formulation in TLM based on the Johns Matrix concept. It allows the reconstruction of impulsive sources in a closed ergodic TLM mesh from a single time response with superresolution in both time and space. The source amplitudes are reconstructed using the time-inverse of the impulse response and the correlation between Johns Matrix elements.
