LITERATURE REVIEW OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY AND ITS IMPACTS AND CHALLENGES IN PRACTICE

Abstract

Purpose: It’s aimed to provide various suggestions for the implementation of Blockchain technology in supply chain management. Methodology: Blockchain technology and its applications in different industries are examined with the method of literature review. Findings: There are many industries where Blockchain technology can be applied. Although it’s is expected to bring many benefits to traditional supply chains, it’s difficult and expensive to implement. Practical implications: To reduce barriers, governments should make more investments in research, education and training to prove and demonstrate the potential benefits. Originality: This study is important in terms of contributing to the literature by examining the application areas in different sectors together with business effects and application difficulties and making suggestions for blockchain technology adoption.
