Electromagnetics education at the University of Central Florida

Abstract

In this paper the development of the electromagnetics curriculum in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Central Florida is presented. The department offers a well rounded program in the electromagnetics area with extensive use of computer aided teaching and design software. Details of the various courses offered are presented and discussed. The courses include: EM fields, microwave engineering, microwave circuits/devices, RF and microwave communications, antennas, and numerical techniques.
