In this context, urban water management in Merzifon district has been evaluated by examining water resources, drinking water transmission and distribution network, water subscriber data, wastewater system and storm water system. It has been determined that the drinking water resources in the district are quite limited, but there are difficulties in reaching the result in the studies on both increasing the drinking water capacity and renewing the drinking water network, while the demand for water is increasing day by day. It has been observed that if the necessary measures are not taken in the short-term period, a major drinking problem awaits the district, and this cannot be solved by the measures taken by the local government alone. Abstract
