Abstract

For misdemeanors, only a fine is usually provided, which can be prescribed in three ways. A fine is most often imposed on the perpetrators. The subject of the author's attention is a fine in misdemeanor law. The author focuses on the issue of prescribing, imposing, but also executing fines. The paper also points out certain illogicalities, inconsistencies and contradictions that exist in the current regulations.
