Abstract

Insulators plays a major role in power transmission system, which provides mechanical support to conductors and are used to decrease the leakage current flowing from conductor to earth. In this paper, the author attempts to design and study of voltage distribution and electric field distribution of various types of disc insulators when they are stressed by high voltages.
