Abstract
In this study, the application of “Failure Mode Effects Analysis” and “Failure Mode Effects and Critical Analysis” methods on an electronic circuit, which are one of the risk analysis methods that began to be used frequently in automotive and manufacturing sectors since the 1950s, especially in aviation, military industry after 1980, will be explained. FMEA and FMECA analyses, are techniques used to identify issues where elements, systems, or processes cannot achieve their planned goals. These are very popular in all technology-based industries, as well as in the space industry, the chemical industry and the automobile industry. The main reason why these methods are popular is that it is easy to use and does not require extensive theoretical knowledge. FMEA and FMECA methods generally focuses on the analysis of parts and equipment. These methods resolve each of the locations and areas where failure can occur and takes into account personal ideas and can be applied to each of the parts of the system.
