Impact of psychogenic factors on the dynamics of suicidal behavior in patients of a psychiatric hospital who have committed suicide or a suicidal attempt

Abstract

The article presents an attempt to assess the impact of individual psychotraumatic events in the life of patients of a psychiatric hospital, including the strength of the psychotraumatic effect, subjective significance, duration, and impact of its resolution on the severity of suicidal risk (under the control of the Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation and the Montgomery — Åsberg Depression Rating Scale). The ideas of psychiatrists about suicidal risks have been studied. The data obtained can be used to assess suicidal risk during treatment in a psychiatric hospital and in the early stages after discharge.
