The existing traffic light controller uses predefined hardware and microprocessors which cannot be modified on the basis of real time traffic. But here we have used UID card with a RFID Reader and a GSM module. In future every car will be equipped with a digital number which will be the unique identity of that particular car. This number is factory fitted with every car and cannot be alterable. So when any car crosses the red light then reader on the road immediate scan the car digital number and save in the memory. As soon as someone violates the traffic light rules then the UID of that particular vehicle is stored in the memory of the microcontroller. The proposed scheme is user friendly and fast due to the use of the GSM module. It gives instant information when any vehicle jumps red light to the control room by sending a message.
