Abstract

This paper proposes a new paradigm for distribution system operation with considering Demand Response Programs (DRP). In this paper is focused to study the effect of DRP on total cost function, where the time-based demand response programs have been modeled and consequently its influence on load profile has been discussed. This paper presents a cost function that minimizes energy cost of Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
