Abstract
Healthcare systems are one of the most critical IoT applications. At present, patients in hospitals are surrounded by a mesh of wires for monitoring and examination purposes. For that reason, we need to improve the monitoring systems by increasing their efficiency. This paper aims to provide an effective system by reducing human and hardware resources. Also, this system helps doctors in hospitals monitor and track patients to evaluate their conditions and decide if they need any immediate type of care effectively. The system consists of two major components (hardware and software). Hardware components are Sensors (temperature, heart pulse), GPS, NodeMCU with WIFI Module, OLED screen, and a webserver to display the biological activities on a webpage. Software components are C language, HTML, CSS, MYSQL database, and PHP language are used. Hardware and software are designed and implemented to perform the monitoring task effectively. The patients can monitor temperature and heart Pulse through an OLED screen attached to the wearable device on a real-time basis. Besides, Doctors can monitor ID number, Age, Temperature, Heart Pulse, Location, and Date of entry through a webpage displayed on a screen or smartphone. Results are showed and discussed in detail in the results and discussions section.
