Various models elucidated in literature has been identified and on the basis of easiness and robustness single diode Rp (shunt resistance)model is recommended for the PV array analysis among, single diode Rs (series resistance), two-diode Rp, single diode junction capacitance, single diode two capacitance, area based two diode, modified two diode and three diode models.
