Abstract
: Testimony is considered one of the most important methods of establishing evidence. It is firm evidence acknowledged by Islam and it is one of the legal arguments by which all rights are preserved whether it is a right that exclusively belongs to Allah or one of the rights of people. One of the most important precepts related to testimony is that it should not be marred by an accusation of kinship, partnership or something else. Otherwise, the testimony is rejected because Islam is keen to ensure that it is truthful and leads to the truth without favoritism, courtesy or injustice. Similarly, an opponent’s testimony may be tainted by the desire of revenge against his opponent. The research deals with the study of the rulings of the opponent’s testimony, along with the precepts of the enmity between opponents, and the impact of the demise of this enmity on the testimony. The research is divided into an introduction, a preface, three sections, and a conclusion.
