Eight Ku- and S-band forward and return links are considered. The modeling of each of the communications link includes the modulation format, data rate, convolutional coding, pseudonoise coding, high power amplification, filtering, synchronization, and detection. The interference link models include the modulation format, data rate, pseudonoise coding, filtering, high power amplification, and signal-to-interference ratio.
