Abstract

Rapid prototyping offers an iterative approach to requirements engineering to alleviate problems such as uncertainty, ambiguity, and inconsistency inherent in the process. As the systems development process is characterized by changing requirements and assumptions, involving multiple stakeholders with often differing viewpoints, it will be beneficial to capture in a structured manner the history of the development process.
